To have full legal validity, the translation must mandatorily include: the Sworn Translator's certification, signature, and seal, the date of issue, and a copy of the original document sealed and dated attached to the translation. Without these elements, the procedure could be rejected.
No. A Sworn Translator can only certify translations in the languages for which they have been appointed by the Ministry. In my case, I am legally authorized for translations between ENGLISH and SPANISH (direct and inverse).
Yes. Under current regulations, sworn translations in PDF format with a qualified electronic signature have full legal validity and are accepted by most electronic administrations and organizations.
For standard documents (birth certificates, records, degrees), the turnaround is usually 24 to 48 hours. For lengthy or technical documents, I will provide an exact timeframe in the quote.
